RENMOZ 2026 and the MZ-EU Business Forum strengthen Mozambique as an investment destination
Mozambique is preparing to host RENMOZ 2026 – the 5th Edition of the Business Conference Renewables in Mozambique, which will take place on 11th and 12th June in Maputo.
As part of a broader agenda to promote sustainable investment, RENMOZ will be held immediately following the Mozambique-EU Business Forum, within the framework of the Global Gateway strategy. Together, these events reinforce Mozambique’s position as a strategic investment market, fostering dialogue among governments, the private sector, investors, and development partners.
Focused on delivering projects and partnerships, RENMOZ will bring together key stakeholders across the energy value chain, creating concrete opportunities for investment and collaboration. The conference will feature the presentation of priority national projects, the launch of the “Briefing: Renewables in Mozambique 2025”, and a wide range of networking and matchmaking initiatives.
The programme will address key topics for the sector’s development, including project financing, mini-grid development, renewable energy auction programmes, energy access, and carbon markets, reflecting the country’s investment and implementation priorities.
RENMOZ will also include B2B and B2G meetings, pitching sessions, and technical discussions, creating the conditions needed to turn opportunities into concrete investments and accelerate project implementation on the ground.
Organised by AMER and ALER, in partnership with the European programme GET.invest, funded by the European Union and Germany, the conference benefits from the support of Mozambican authorities, the European Union, and several international partners under the Team Europe approach.
At a time when investment mobilisation and the energy transition are playing a central role in economic development, RENMOZ 2026 is positioned as a key platform for connecting strategic vision with implementation, further strengthening Mozambique’s role as one of the leading emerging markets in the renewable energy sector.
