Road to RENMOZ 2026: online launch session of the event takes place on 11th May

RENMOZ 2026 returns to Maputo on 11th and 12th June 2026, with a renewed format that is more strategic and clearly oriented towards the conclusion of business deals and investments in the energy sector. Following the success of the previous edition, which brought together more than 550 participants from 46 nationalities, the event once again establishes itself as a reference platform for bringing together companies, public institutions, investors and development partners, with a focus on delivering concrete results on the ground.

Held alongside the Mozambique–EU Business Forum 2026, taking place on 9th and 10th June, RENMOZ 2026 strengthens the link between public policies, sectoral planning and private‑sector investment mobilisation. In doing so, it contributes to the implementation of the Energy Transition Strategy and aligns with the priorities of the Mozambique–European Union Partnership and the Global Gateway initiative.

As a preparatory moment, the Online Launch Session, integrated into the Road to RENMOZ 2026 initiative, will take place on 11th May, from 11:00 to 12:15 (Mozambique time). The session aims to present the strategic framework of the 2026 edition; highlight opportunities for participation and positioning for companies and institutions; and share information on priority areas and investment project pipelines, as well as on the context and opportunities of Mozambique’s energy market.

More than a networking space, RENMOZ 2026 will place a clear emphasis on deal‑making, creating conditions for identifying strategic partners, exploring a qualified project pipeline and scheduling B2B and B2G meetings in advance, thereby maximising the impact of participation in the event.

Organised by the Mozambican Association of Renewable Energy (AMER) and ALER, in partnership with the European programme GET.invest and with the support of the European Union, RENMOZ 2026 consolidates itself as a key instrument to promote Mozambique as an investment destination in the energy sector.
