Presentation of the 2030 Cooperation Roadmap at COP30
The Thematic Commission on Energy and Climate of the CPLP Consultative Observers, coordinated by ALER and sub-coordinated by RELOP, will take part in COP30, in Belém do Pará (Brazil), to present the 2030 Cooperation on Energy and Climate in the CPLP Countries, launched in Mozambique during the CPLP Energy and Climate Week.
The event will take place on 14th November, at 5:00pm (Belém time), at the Portugal Pavilion (PV-A05, Blue Zone) and will be streamed on the YouTube channel of the Portuguese Ministry of Environment and Energy.
Developed throughout 2025 through a multilateral process involving the governments of Portuguese-speaking countries responsible for the areas of energy, environment, and finance, as well as regional and international institutions and the private sector, this Roadmap identifies four strategic and priority areas for cooperation: Energy Planning; Capacity Building and Leadership; Financing Mobilization; and Acceleration of Energy Transitions.
This Roadmap, more than a common agenda, is a collective vision of transformation, progress and development. It aims to be a starting point for action, worked on by several hands, and conducted in a gradual, participatory and results-oriented manner, in permanent dialogue and alignment with the representatives of the Member States.
