ALER strengthens strategic relations with presence at events in Paris and Brussels
This week, ALER participated in two major international events, strengthening strategic cooperation and its commitment to the energy transition in Portuguese-speaking countries.
In Paris, Pedro Clemente, ALER’s Planning and Partnerships Manager, attended the annual conference The Power of Many: Paris 2025 Sessions, organized by REN21 – an international network that brings together governments, industry, NGOs, academia and science, of which ALER is a member. On 10th and 11th December, the event featured joint reflection sessions and collaborative workshops, focusing on accelerating the energy transition toward Vision 2030, including project presentations and strategic discussions.
In Brussels, ALER’s Executive Director, Isabel de Abreu, participated in the São Tomé and Príncipe 2040 Investment Forum, where the country’s 2026–2040 National Sustainable Development Strategy was presented. ALER’s participation in this forum strengthens cooperation with the Government of São Tomé and Príncipe, supporting investment mobilization in energy projects and fostering closer collaboration between the public and private sectors in priority areas such as renewable energy.
These two events underscore ALER’s commitment to promoting international cooperation and encouraging investments to accelerate the energy transition in Lusophone countries.
