Condolence note

ALER wishes to express its deep sorrow at the death of Luís Mourão, CEO of IRSEA - Instituto Regulador dos Serviços de Electricidade e de Água de Angola, and to offer its condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

It is with great sadness that we have seen the departure of this friend and partner of ALER, with whom we have been collaborating since ALER's first visit to Angola in March 2016, at the invitation of Luís Mourão himself.

We would like to pay tribute to this leading figure in Angola's energy sector, who stood out for his extensive knowledge, the energy and straightforwardness with which he communicated, and for promoting the sustainability of the sector with a stronger involvement of the private sector and renewable energies.
